Our hydrogen (H2)-Sensors for safe hydrogen technology are the result of many years of research and development.The sensors are based on a hydrogen-specific sensor element manufactured in hybrid technology using thin-film and thick-film processes. The sensor element is catalytically highly active and poison resistant against volatile siloxanes as well as other catalyst poisons. It is implemented in a special metal housing of standard size 21 mm Ø x 16 mm together with an electronic board. The gas inlet is designed as a sintered plate. Their short response times of less than 5 seconds make them ideal for safety applications. The sensors can be used at relative humidities from 0% to 100%; even condensation of humidity is no problem. They have a very stable basic signal that is not affected by humidity fluctuations. They have been trimmed for special robustness and signal stability in the presence of volatile siloxanes.
